Andrew Myers, ICB Undergraduate Research Fellow Awarded the Teresa Ball Memorial Scholarship
The Institute of Clinical Bioethics

Andrew Myers, the Undergraduate Research Fellow of the Institute of Clinical Bioethics, was awarded the Teresa Ball Memorial Scholarship for $5000. The following is a description of the scholarship: On April 24, 2015, Dr. Teresa Smith Ball lost her long battle with breast cancer at the age of 55. To honor Dr. Ball’s years of devotion as a physician and her love of Saint Joseph's University, her family and fellow classmates have established the Dr. Teresa Smith Ball Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship award of $5,000 is presented annually to a full-time student at St. Joseph's University, who is anticipating spring graduation; has achieved and can maintain academic excellence; has a financial need, and is pursuing a degree in a clinical healthcare setting. Awards will be given to the student who best fits all of these requirements. For more information about the scholarship, click here.
